MTN Nigeria recruits HR Services Supervisor (expat) to be based in Lagos

Job Description:

Expatriate Administration

·         Ensure that expatriates are aware of contents of policy, contract and conditions of service

·         Administer local contract to expatriates and liaise with Group on any related issues

·         Liaise with HR Business Partners and employee and industrial relations officers on grievances and serious performance issues concerning expatriates

·         Coordinate orientation, induction and on-boarding of expatriates

·         Coordinate expatriate meetings and forums

·         Provide advice to expatriates coming to Nigeria regarding immigration issues

·         Ensure that expatriates comply with all Nigerian Immigration laws and regulations

·         Assist in the enforcement of expatriate regulations and conditions of service

·         Communicate deactivation/re-activation notice to relevant units/stakeholders

·         Manage expatriate recruitment and their contracts with MTNN

·         Monitor leave days and flights taken on vacation( HR Admin to maintain data)

Secondee Administration

·         Coordinate secondment activities and correspondence, up-to-date communication with potential secondees and liaison with the group

·         Ensure that all stake holders are adequately informed of a secondment

·         Liaise with talent development manager and relevant operating unit on secondment tenure

·         Ensure compliance of secondee’s contract with stipulations of secondment policy

Expatriate Welfare

·         Coordinate all “Look See” visits.

·         Make use of best practice in hospitality planning to help inform expatriates and management of the above task.

·         Promote, support and coordinate the different measures delivered as part of the travel plan and to monitor progress against objectives and targets

·         Liaise with facilities on accommodation issues of expats

·         Ensure that accommodation has been inspected and adequately furnished before expatriate resumes

·         Coordinate all pre-on-boarding preparations (accommodation, schooling for wards, tool of trade/status vehicles, work station, user account creation, relocation allowance, protocol/logistics, immigration, etc)

  • Provide support in any other related matter as required

Required Skills:

  • At least 4 years working experience
  • 2 years experience in general HR or administration
  • Expatriate management experience would be an added advantage

Qualifications:

A first degree in social sciences or a related discipline
