Network Arewa24 Limited is the company that owns and manages AREWA24, a Hausa-language, free-to-air satellite television channel which can be viewed on Eutelsat Satellite Channel 16A/16 East Horizontal (frequency 10804, symbol rate 30000).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Main Presenter (Female) – Gari Ya Waye Breakfast Show
Location: Kano

Requirements

• Female aged 28 to 40 years old
• Vast knowledge of current affairs with strong emphasis on Nigerian affairs
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team
• Ability to work on short notice and tight deadlines
• Must have a well-groomed appearance
• A consummate broadcaster with a national or international reputation
• Love television, with an encyclopedic knowledge of the media and outward looking, creative perspective on broadcasting.
• Fluency in language of both Hausa and English
• Ability to create a persona that resonates with the viewers
• Articulate speech patterns, excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to improvise when necessary
• Reputation for delivering high-quality research and interviewing skills
• Well tested and respected interview skills with a track record in Nigerian broadcasting
• Calmness under pressure, authoritative and yet friendly
• A good memory, for recalling scripts and facts
