Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund (NSSF) is an innovative platform for resource mobilization. Primarily established to supplement efforts to mitigate the adverse economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on Nigerians by supporting vulnerable members of the population, strengthening the country’s healthcare system and reskilling the Nigerian workforce for a post-pandemic world. The Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund is led by a team of Nigerians – working tirelessly to help bring a better life to all Nigerians. Together, with dedicated stakeholders, multilateral organizations, grassroots NGOs and local partner organizations, we are raising funds and initiating interventions to ensure that our children, families and vulnerable groups across Nigeria recover from the devastating impact of COVID-19. Job Title: Marketing / Communications Intern
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

 

Summary

• The Marketing intern will be working closely with a marketing manager who will provide you with real hands-on projects and daily tasks that use social media platforms to promote and manage NSSF brand image.

 

Job Description

• Create and grow social media presence/profiles
• Assist in loading/producing stories/creating social media graphics
• Help develop strategies for capturing target audience and current customer engagement
• Moderate comments across social media profiles
• Utilize social media profiles to campaign events
• Maintain, post and, update social media profiles such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn,
• Instagram, and Snapchat with appropriate and appealing content Assist with social media analytics and reporting
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements
Education:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Skills:

• Proficiency in English
• A marketer at heart: Excellent oral communication and copywriting skills with an eye for design and the ability to pitch NSSF, meet new donors and partners, sell our organization, engage social influencers etc.
• Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to project prioritize and meet deadline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Highly organized.
