Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have a Job opening for the position of Risk Audit and Compliance Manager. This position is to be based in Abuja Nigeria and is expected to report directly to the GM, Insurance under the department of Insurance
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
REPORTS TO:
POSITION & TITLE – General Manager, Insurance
DIRECT SUBORDINDATES: Risk Management Officer
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To conduct risk surveys (All NNPC locations) and ensure compliance with risk reduction recommendations.
SPECIFIC OR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
To establish and maintain loss control and risk awareness programmes
To identify and recommend risk transfer options in respect of life and property.
To coordinate and ensure compliance with risk reduction, recommendations.
To identify and recommend new trends in risk management techniques.
Maintain general administrative functions of the risk audit and compliance unit.
Nature of Autonomy in Decision Making :
Matters outside own job sphere is referred to superior
Give specific examples of decisions that the job holder cannot take himself but would have to refer to his superior. Cannot change any insurance guidelines without reference to superior.
Guidance Given : Insurance guidelines
Given specific examples of the guidance available to the job holder e.g. close supervision, policies, rules, timetables, etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education and Qualifications : First degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or ACII
Minimum Formal Training: On-the-job training
Minimum Knowledge and Experience: Ten years experience in upstream and/or downstream activities
