Boerata Energy and Technology announces the first session of its 2015 Oil and Gas Facilities Piping Systems Design and Pipe Stress Analysis

ABOUT THE COURSE

This intensive foundation / intermediate level course cover the design of Oil and Gas facilities Piping systems and an introductory session into oil and gas operations. The course focuses on key areas which include: codes and standards, pipe materials and specification, piping components, and piping layout and design. Other areas include pipe sizing calculations, pipe stress analysis and hydraulic design of piping systems. The emphasis is on proper material selection and specification of piping systems, Piping codes and standards (ANSI/ASME, API, ISO).The course   reviews the key areas associated with the design of piping systems for oil and gas onshore and offshore facilities.

CONTENT

The course is taught using a combination of teaching strategies, facilitated discussions, and hands-on exercises using “real world” project examples related to facilities design. The exercises include activities (such as workshop) that will provide each participant with a visual application and concretized knowledge on the principles and practices discussed throughout the course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is design for engineers, Experienced Mechanical, facilities, plant or pipeline engineers and piping system designers who are involved in the design of in-plant piping systems for oil and gas facilities, B.Tech/B.Eng Fresh graduates of Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical Civil, Petroleum and Chemical   back ground. Training shall be limited to 12 participants only.

All courses are based upon real projects and will include workshop and group exercises.

Training Manuals, writing materials and softcopy of study materials will be provided.

Audio and Video tutorials sessions.

After completing of this piping design course candidate is fully skilled for working as piping design engineer in in the Oil and Gas Industry.
