Job Title: Architect
Job Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting design to clients
• Producing detailed drawings and drafting.
• Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
• Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
• Project management
• Co-ordinating the work of contractors
• Making site visits to check on progress
• Dealing with problems that might come up during building

Qualifications and Requirements

• Good B.Sc. Degree in Architecture.
• M.Sc in Architecture and a registered NIA an advantage
• 4 to 6 years core experience
• Creativity and artistic ability are important
• Have strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
• Ability to troubleshoot are also imperative.
• Reading and understand blueprints and technical diagrams
• Advanced proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and MS project, autocad and archicad
• Ability to prepare and deliver efficient site reports.
• Overseeing the running and successful delivery of several projects.
• First rate analytical and communication skills necessary
• Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills
• Excellent Communication skills and team builder
