Project Manager: WorleyParsons Nigeria

WorleyParsons, a global energy resources giant with  operations in Nigeria currently recruits Manager – Project Management & Control to be based in Lagos Nigeria, this is a full time position

Main Duties
 Assist the Project Manager in reviewing project communications and identifying key issues requiring action/response
 Review and finalisation of project procedures in consultation with key project personnel
 Responsible for ensuring the project team is contractually aware of their respective responsibilities, scopes of work and deliverables

Project Controls
 Responsible for collating and updating deliverable progress in InControl weekly
 Responsible for liaising with the Cost Controller and Schedular to provide a weekly analysis of project status
 Responsible for ensuring change orders are raised correctly in InControl, agreed with the Client and documented in accordance with the project requirements

Quality Assurance
 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Pipelines & Terminals Business Unit
 Responsible for overseeing the development of the Project Quality Plan
 Responsible for ensuring adherence to the Worley EMS
 Responsible for coordinating project audits and close-out of audit reports

Safety
 Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Pipelines & Terminals Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Requirements
Tertiary qualifications with a project management, project engineering or discipline engineering background

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
Experience in using InControl project controls software
Experience in reasonably sized lump sum design projects
Approximately 5 to 8 years industry experience
