Project Management – Nigeria

Position Project Managers

Function You will be responsible for the successful completion of company projects in accordance with agreed targets. Your key responsibility will be ensuring compliance to contractual obligations, coordinating and supervising technical personnel and vendors, managing project schedules, budget and quality. You will also be responsible for the development of project briefs and facilitating the tendering process.
Minimum Requirement You will be degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (COREN or NSE membership will be an advantage) and aged between 37 and 45 years. You must have a minimum of 12 years post graduation experience, five of which must have been at Management level within a power generation plant. Ideally, you will have high voltage 330kV transmission line experience and be familiar with standard computer-based project management systems.

Position Human Resources Manager

Function You will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of effective human resource strategies for the company. Your key responsibilities will include assessing both current and future needs of the business as they pertain to staffing, manpower development and HSE issues. You will ensure best practice is adopted in relation to employee welfare schemes and promote an industrially harmonious work environment.  In addition, you will also be responsible for creating new initiatives aimed at increasing employees’ commitment to the company’s ambitious business plans and ensuring compliance with policies in line with the standards of operation within the Energy/Oil and Gas sector and Nigerian Labour Law.
Minimum Requirement You will be degree-qualified (preferably with a relevant post-graduate degree qualification and IPMN membership) and aged between 37 and 42 years’. You must have a minimum of ten years’ post graduation experience; five of which must have been in a similar role within a reputable corporate organisation. You must be familiar with current national issues and possess an open-minded approach to problem solving. Success in the role will require a deep understanding of current best practices in HR management.

Position Administration Manager

Function You will be responsible for providing critical administrative support to management. Your key result areas will include supply chain management, facility management, asset management and corporate security. You will be responsible for managing the company’s external relations (with special emphasis on community relations and regulatory matters), as well as ensuring the provision of efficient protocol services to employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirement You will be degree-qualified (preferably with a relevant post-graduate degree qualification) and aged between 35 and 40 years’. You must have a minimum of eight years post graduation experience, five of which must have been in a similar role within a reputable corporate organisation. Strong management and interpersonal skills will be complemented by a high degree of personal organisation and effectiveness.

Function You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of operations at the company’s guest houses. Your key responsibilities will include safeguarding properties and assets, managing guest house budgets, vendor management and staff supervision. You will establish appropriate performance standards and put in place a quality control and customer service system to ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered to guests at all times.
Minimum Requirement You will be degree-qualified in estate management or a related field; and aged between 35 and 40 years.  You must have a minimum of six years post graduation experience; three of which must have been in a similar role. Position AUTOCAD DETAILERS

Qualification & Experience Hands- on experience working with AutoCAD for not less than 2 years
Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering
Must be less than 40years old at the time of submitting application
Minimum of B.Sc. or HND graduate in any Engineering degreeKnowledge of MS-Office application will be a plus

Position CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS

Responsibilities The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Checking of Design of building structures and machine foundations.
Detailing of Reinforced Concrete and Steel structures.
Follow-up civil works for power station construction.

Qualifications Must be excellent in the use of 2D AutoCAD software.
B.Eng or its equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years working experience, some of which should preferably have been in an independent generation and transmission, or oil service company.
A relevant professional Engineering qualification will be an added advantage.
Must be less than 35 years old at the time of submitting application.
