Job Statement

  • Build out menu, production practices and overall business for fast food business

Job Summary

  • Deliver best practice kitchen management to ensure excellent quality and time products delivery in a healthy environment.
  • The candidate would oversee all kitchen activities and production of food; he or she would also oversee all pastry and bakery production.

Production:

  • Constantly monitor to ensure absolute compliance to approved recipe, methodology and standards of production.
  • Ensure availability of materials and tool required for effective/efficient delivery of production.
  • Monitor, Regulate and control quality of products.
  • Manage production to ensure confrromity with delivery timelines/dealines

Products Development:

  • Facilitate new products injection by providing of adequate information for useful decision making.
  • Build out business by expanding product range across multiple types of products.
  • Hygiene And Safety
  • Ensure standard hygiene in, kitchen, and environs to meet and surpass regulatory standards. Also to comply with relevant health and safety regulation standards
  • Must ensure the proper fixing of all breakdowns in facilities prompting and report the state of the facilities.

Qualifications

  • 10 years experience in food industry

Job Description

  • The QC manager will lead the Quality improvement activity of the business.
  • He will be responsible for planning, agreeing and managing the outputs of the Quality Department against agreed business objectives maximizing the utilization of available resource and delivering those outputs to 100% standard of quantity, quality and time.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the production and quality control of all products meets the appropriate standards.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system,
  • Reporting on the performance of the system for review and as a basis for continuous improvement.
  • Work with Production, Marketing, Purchasing and other Technical personnel to identify potential opportunities for improving manufacturing efficiencies, maximising cost effectiveness for all raw materials and components whilst maintaining agreed product standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional certificate in Pastry, Nutrition, Sanitation and Food Preparation
  • Must be an expert at cake and pastry creation.
  • At least 2 years experience in working in a similar role
  • Must be creative – (knowledge of the ingredients and creativity are required in order to successfully play with flavors).
  • Baked goods  must be appealing to  the eye – (creativity must  be used to decorate baked goods in an attractive manner.)
  • Good leading skills
  • Good sense of taste and smell- (These two senses must be extremely developed as the pastery chef  must smell and taste the ingredients as well as the product in different stages in order to ensure the best quality for the finished product)

Job Title: General Manager – Operations

Job Description

  • To lead the manufacturing function and implement a company wide strategy to ensure that all performance KPI’s are met.
  • To create and implement a best practice manufacturing environment that would ensure the continued improvement of the operations, by introducing systems and processes designed to provide accurate and timely reports.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the preparation of accurate operating budgets for the manufacturing department
  • Prepare the annual objectives of the manufacturing department.
  • Review and evaluate actual operating results against annual established objectives for the department and the regions and take corrective action to improve unsatisfactory results.
  • Develop short/medium term manufacturing plans to ensure the alignment of manufacturing capability with growth in sales volume.
  • Provide advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out plans consistent with established policies and top management approval.
  • Strengthen the organizational structure at plant level, particularly the engineering capability by building a solid pipeline for key technical positions.

  • Develop and implement a Quality/Environmental Plan to ensure compliance with quality assurance programs including environmental and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • HND/B. Sc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 15 years of technical experience, of which at least 10 years as a manufacturing/plant manager (preferably in a food/beverage company)
