St Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIA as both primary and secondary health care providers. Job Title: Registered Nurse / Midwife
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Administering non-intravenous medications.
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• 3 – 7 years relevant work experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, friendly attitude..
• Experience in emergency room or intensive care.
• Pass the Nursing Council Licensure Examination
• Current license as a registered nurse required
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.

 

Salary
N90,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
