Job Title: Team Lead, Physical Records Management
Location: Lagos

About the Job

  • Are you passionate about records management and compliance? Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for organizing information assets?
  • Join our team as a Team Lead, Physical Records Management and play a key role in ensuring efficient document retention, retrieval, and compliance with best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the classification, retention, and organization of physical records
  • Conduct legal research to determine retention values and update schedules
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve information access and security
  • Lead and mentor a team of records officers
  • Ensure compliance with international records management standards
  • Develop and implement recordkeeping methodologies and indexing systems

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Degree in Library Science, Information Resource Management, History, or a related field
  • Knowledge of CBN regulations and compliance requirements
  • Attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.
  • 4–6 years of experience in records/information management
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
