Success Digest Growth Initiative is a Non-governmental organization founded in August 2015 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria with certificate number (CAC/IT/NO 80360) to provide microfinance and developmental services to retail business owners who are registered members of the organization. The objective of the organization is consistent with the aims and ongoing efforts of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Federal Government in promoting friendly financial inclusion to household individuals at the bottom of the pyramid. The organization is a national institution currently operating in several states, and providing loans to active poor women and men. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Finance Officer
Locations: Ikotun, Ayobo, Iyana-Ipaja, Idimu, Ejigbo and Isolo – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
The Finance Officer will perform the following;

• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
• Prepare balance sheets
• Process invoices
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Update internal systems with financial data
• Track bank deposits and payments
• Assist with budget preparation
• Review and implement financial policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements
• Participate in financial audits.
• Carry out any other assignments as may be required by the firm.
• Applicants must reside within Ikotun, Ipaja, Ejigbo and generally Alimosho LGA.

Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
• 1 – 3 years experience in an accounting field post-NYSC.
• Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
• Knowledge on Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Excel.
• Applicants should reside around Ikeja, Iyana Ipaja, Ejigbo, Ikotun, axis of Lagos.
• Basic knowledge of various accounting software such as Sage One.
