Position Title Technical Director
Location Nigeria
Daily Responsibilities We seek exceptional Nigerian candidates for the position of Technical Director on an upcoming international donor funded program aimed at strengthening the enabling environment for health and education programs in Nigeria. The Technical Director, under the direction of the Chief of Party, will have responsibility for the day-to-day programmatic, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting components of the project and will oversee the production of all technical outputs. The Technical Director will bring innovation, leadership, supervision, and an attention to detail, and will work in partnership with staff and the Chief of Party to bring about successful project outcomes.
Years of experience (min) 15+ years experience in policy development and policy implementation in the areas of HIV/AIDS, family planning/reproductive health, child survival, and basic education.
Degree An advanced degree in Public Health, Education or Social Sciences
Skills •Considerable experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex and large projects. Knowledge and technical expertise in working with donors, senior government officials, national NGOs and CBOs and other relevant stakeholders in executing policy/advocacy programs.
•High level M&E and reporting skills
•Strong and demonstrated organizational, personnel management and interpersonal relationship skills
•Excellent communications skills, including writing and oral presentation skills
In addition to the specific experience requirements outlined above, Senior Advisor and Program Officers will also demonstrate:

•Excellent leadership qualities.
•Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization and writing skills
•Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
