Description

The Technical Officer (M&E), under the supervision of the Zonal Senior Technical Officer (M&E) and Zonal Manager, and with technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, is responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the zonal office. The Technical Officer (M&E) will work with others in the zonal office and local implementing partners to ensure that zonal monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

MBBS with 1 to 3 years’ post NYSC experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS and provision of PMTCT and ART in resource constrained settings.
Or, MPH/Msc/MA in a relevant area with 3 to 5 years’ experience as above
Or, BSc/BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, M&E or other relevant degree with 5 to 7 years work experience as above.
Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs or CBOs will be an added advantage.
