Job Title: Technical Support Officer
Employment Type: Full-time
- We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for this position. You will troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback and support the roll-out of new software, among other duties.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyse, troubleshoot and diagnose software problems
- Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved
- support the roll-out of new software
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
- Test and evaluate new technologies
- Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- B.Sc. in Computer science
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Technical support personnel
- Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisation
