The Thrive Place Limited  – We are a start-up business venture in the consulting, leadership/professional development, hospitality and hotel sector and LOCATED IN IJU area of Lagos, but with opportunities, potential and operational scope covering Lagos City and beyond.

In order to strengthen our workforce and move our operations to the next level, we now have an opening for the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant evidence based business development or marketing experience and results, with credibility in the marketplace
  • Strong understanding of key industry drivers, demonstrable track record selling hospitality
  • and related services aligned to clients issues and growth agendas, will be an advantage
  • Current network of senior level contacts in the marketplace and excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to utilize relationships to uncover and develop opportunities
  • Must have excellent Microsoft usage skills
  • Creative in packaging variety of events programs that attract and retain clients and patronage on a long term basis
  • Active in key social media platforms with positive impacts
  • Must be a natural outgoing person who enjoys meeting with people

Accountable for:

  • Assessing clients’ needs for our target audience
  • Entrance into the market and market share enhancement
  • Identify relevant events in the Iju area and environs for networking purposes to increase the potential clients base for our companies
  • Higher win rates, revenue generation and growth
  • Install client satisfaction and service quality assurances procedures for our companies
  • Focus on effective alternative routes to the market
  • Champion the on boarding and building of effective sustainable relationships with relevant third parties related to marketing and sales activities and business expansion
  • Initiate and develop relationships with (large) business enterprises, Professional Associations, religious organizations, schools amongst others
  • Develop next generation products and services for the companies
  • Help in-house in managing our websites
  • Others duties as will be agreed
