Job Title: Social Media Intern
Location:
Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a zealous social media intern to assist the Marketing department of our company.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to increase our social media presence and gain visibility for our brand among clients and candidates.

Job Description

  • Social Media Community Management
  • Setup and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Email Marketing and SEO
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

Qualifications

  • Awaiting NYSC/ at least 6-months internship program applicants must study a relevant course
  • An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management;
  • Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • An entrepreneurial attitude.

Skills:

  • Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills.
  • An ability to consistently demonstrate our values of insight, hard work, and effectiveness in your personal approach to work;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn;
  • A proactive, service-focussed attitude towards clients and candidates and the teams you support internally; An ability to remain calm under pressure and a robust/resilient attitude towards challenges;
  • An ability to prioritise work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times and minimal fuss; and
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Job Title: Head of Advert Sales
Location:
Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing and sales of the company’s advertising sales products online and offline.
  • Develop and motivate sales team to meet with the sales goals set forth by the company.
  • Manage a team of sales executives.
  • Attract and retain highest caliber sales staff.
  • Prepare periodic personal and Team sales reports showing advertising sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Create innovative integrated marketing partnerships.
  • Represent Company at public meetings, trade shows or other advertising venues as required.
  • Promote the company’s image by addressing or predicting clients objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.

Job Title: Magazine Editor
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Planning issue content and selecting articles for each column
  • Working as a team with writers, photographers and visual artist
  • Contacting interviewees and conducting interviews
  • Editing, rewriting and proofreading content
  • Ensuring visual aesthetics/appeal, consistency and harmony in overall content
  • Supervising photoshoots and graphic design
  • Ensuring content is original and relevant to the target audience
  • Working with freelancers if necessary
  • Ensuring team is working according to timeline
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Attending events, conferences, etc, whenever necessary

Requirements

  • B.Sc/HND in related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly motivated and can work with deadlines
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Outstanding knowledge in written and spoken English
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
