Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Utako, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • As a Sales Engineer, you’ll bridge the technical aspects of our products and client needs.
  • Focus on understanding customer technical requirements and adeptly communicate how our solutions fulfil those needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, offering technical expertise for successful sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships, and conduct on-site visits.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Generate and provide quotations, and respond to RFQs.
  • Manage CRM (Pipedrive) for efficient organization.
  • Execute sales and prospecting activities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and provide monthly sales reports.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for company products and services.
  • Work with management to generate sales leads via marketing channels, prospect lists, and referrals.
  • Execute sales and prospecting activities, including emails, cold calls, and onsite visits.
  • Meet KPIs related to prospecting, engagement, quotations, and bookings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of energy sector products and services.
  • Excellent in presenting, negotiating, and communicating.
  • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Results-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for learning and staying current with sales trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, adept at articulating company values.
  • Sales Training & Certifications are a plus.
