Job Title: Rig Manager
Location: Rivers

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review, understanding and comply with the Project Quality Plan/System and participation in setting worksite safety objectives and key performance indicators.
• Review, understand and comply with Emergency Safety Plan and Bridging documentation between client and WOUK management systems.
• Review, understanding and comply with project procedures and equipment
• Review and understand project schedule and any constraints.
• Review and understand principal project contract and commercial conditions.
• Review, understand and comply with Project Inspection and Test Plan to ensure all necessary as-built data is collected.
• Review, understand and comply with WOUK Management of Change system
• Active participation in Safe Job Analysis and Risk Assessments, ensuring identified risks are communicated to the offshore project personnel.
• Review and understand roles and responsibilities of subcontractors and their liabilities.
• Review and understand roles and responsibilities of third party personnel.
• Liaise with Vessel Master and Chief Engineer to ensure safety of all interfaces between project and marine operations.
• Ensure appropriate risk assessment are undertaken, TBRA’s, SJA’s, Toolbox talks and TOFS. Maintaining close operational communication with the Operations Manager.
• Liaise with Client’s Representative(s) and Company offshore representative and sub-contractors onboard the vessel.
• The implementation of the Company’s health, safety and environment policy by all WOUK  employees and/or WOUK subcontractors on board the vessel.
• Ensuring that vessel project safety meetings are convened and minuted in accordance with WOUK.
• Management System, also attendance at vessel safety meetings by the Rig Manager or his delegates.
• Action any corrective measures raised by audits and/or inspections carried out by Client/Safety/QA personnel pertaining to personnel, procedures, the work site and supporting equipment.
• Report safety incidents relating to project activities including their classification  as per company

Qualification and Experience

• Proven experience and results-oriented career and/or B Eng. or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111/2 respectively;
• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in any Science / Engineering Related field.
• Candidate must have the relevant mandatories (STCW, TBOSIET, HUET, GMDSS, OSP and All other relevant Documents for positions applied for).
• Valid IWCF/Well cap certification, Supervisory level is an added advantage.
• At least 7-15 years of Experience any the field being applied for.
• Member of a Professional Body is an added advantage
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates.
• Valid International Passport.
• Possess basic critical rig equipment training.
• Demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.

Additional Training Requirements:

• As per Marine Master Training Matrix (HHR-MA-0013).
