Qualifications and Experience (Please check specific disciplinary requirements where applicable below)

PROFESSOR CONUASS 7
• Candidates must possess Ph.D. from recognized institutions, with a minimum of 10 years of post -doctoral qualification experience
• Candidates must have a strong record of publications in relevant and reputable national and international academic journals and other publishing outlets.
• In addition, candidates must particularly possess some measure of experience in departmental / faculty / college administration and university governance.
• Basic competencies in computer applications will be added advantage.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR CONUASS 6
• Candidates for this position must possess Ph.D. from recognized institutions, with a minimum of 8 years of postdoctoral qualification experience.
• Candidates must also have published extensively and appropriately in the relevant standard academic journals.
• In addition, candidates must possess some measure of administrative experience i n departmental / faculty / college levels and university governance.
• Basic competencies in computer applications will be added advantage.

SENIOR LECTURER CONUASS 5
• Candidates for this position must possess Ph.D. from recognized institutions, with a minimum of 6 years of postdoctoral qualification experience.
• Candidates must als0 have published widely in reputable national and international academic journals.
• In addition, some measure of administrative experience in University organization and processes will be advantage.
• Basic competencies in computer applications will be added advantage.

LECTURER I CONUASS 4
• Candidates for this position must possess Ph.D. from recognized institutions, with a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral qualification experience
OR
• Possession of M.Sc /M.Eng. /M.Tech. (Where it is academic) and professional registration in the relevant field plus at least 3 years teaching and research experience in a University or comparable institution.
• All candidates must have reasonable number of publications in reputable journals tenable for this level. Basic competencies in computer application will be added advantage.

LECTURER II CONUASS 3
Candidates for this position must basically posses Ph.D. in the related fields
OR
• Areas of specialization, as listed above, and obtained from recognized institutions.
• Possession of M.Sc /M.Eng. /M.Tech. (Where it is academic) and professional registration in the relevant field.
• Candidates must demonstrate high scholastic promise, the possession of teaching experience in the University system and reasonable number of academic publications tenable for this level.
• Basic competencies in computer applications will be added advantage.

MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST II/I (CONTISS 7/8)
• Candidates must possess fellowship of Medical laboratory Science of Nigeria or Bachelor of laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Additional qualification will be an advantage.
• Candidate must hold current license.
• Candidates for laboratory Scientists I must have at least 3 years University experience respectively.

Specific Requirements for College of Health Sciences:
• Candidates for positions in the College of Health Sciences must possess a Ph.D. or MBBS and registrable postgraduate Medical degree in related disciplines (Surgery for candidates for Anatomy, Medicine for candidates in Physiology and Biochemistry.
• For candidates with Ph.D., MBBS will be an advantage.

LIBRARIAN I (CONUASS 03)
Candidates for this position must possess a good honours degree preferably in Agriculture, law, and Natural Sciences plus Master’s degree in library Science from a recognized University.
In addition, candidates must have at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience preferably in a University library.
Candidates must be computer literate and have a good understanding of the application of information communication technology (ICT) to the functions of university library.
Evidence of scholarly publications will enhance the prospects of candidates.

SYSTEMS ANALYST II (CONTISS 07)
• Candidates for this position must possess a good honours degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, informatics of other relevant discipline with formal training in Systems Analysis and Computer Programming.
• In addition, candidates must be skillful and versed in the use LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience in networking, use of library software/electronic library packages and systems maintenance will enhance the prospects of candidates

SENIOR LIBRARY OFFICER (CONTISS 08)
• Candidates must possess a good HND in library Studies with NYSC discharge certificate and at least three (3) years post qualification experience or Diploma in library Studies with at least six (6) years cognate experience.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of application of ICT to the functions of the library are essential requirements.

LIBRARY OFFICER (CONTISS 06)
• Candidates must possess Diploma in Library Studies (DLS);
• Candidates must also possess credit in five (5) subjects including English Language at the GCE/SSCE or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of application of ICT to the functions of the library are essential requirements.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT (CONTISS 03)
• Candidates for this position must possess SSCE/GCE O’ Level with credit in Five (5) subjects including English Language.
• Computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively would be added advantage.

LIBRARY PORTER (CONTISS 03)
Candidates must possess at least WAEC/SSCE/GCE O’ Level or its equivalent with credit in four (4) subjects including English Language.
Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in English Language.
Experience as a retired police, military or other Para-military personnel would be an advantage.
