West African Vocational Education (WAVE) – Our client, a Book Store located at Surulere, Lagos is recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Retail Assistant
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

• The preferred candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist them tofind the merchandise they are seeking and to make sure that they have a pleasant shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting each customer in a polite and friendly manner to ascertain what they want.
• Receive, pack, unpack, and stock books and other supplies at the bookstore.
• Operate cash register and assist student and customers with purchasing items from the bookstores.
• Perform inventory.
• The opening and closing of the bookstore.
• Keep the bookshop neat and tidy, goods accurately prices and shelves well stocked.
• Accurately close out, count money, make sales reports, and deposits at end of day.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc
• Minmium of 1 year retail experience.
• Sound knowledge of bookstore operations,sales and inventory management is an added advantage.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and take feedbacks.

Work Hours:

• Monday – Saturday 8:30am – 6:00pm.

Salary: N60,000 / month.
