Job Title: Finance Controller
Location: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Mowe – Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The Finance Controller will be responsible for maintaining proper Financial Management and Controls in safeguarding Financial and Material Resources of the organization in furtherance of its mission.
• The position will also be responsible for Fundraising.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with the Financial Regulations and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Coordinate annual external audit of financial statements.
• Ensure monthly reports for all programs are properly done and submitted on a timely basis
• Oversee preparation of budgets
• Monitor implementation of program budgets
• Prepare and manage cash flows and develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs
• Report monthly to the CEO on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as anaccountant, cost or financial controllerin a manufacturing setting
• Professional certifications such as ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting is required.
• Experience in Cash Management, Risk Management, Auditing and Taxation
• Prior work experience in financial strategy and executing financial strategic initiatives
• Good understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of Accounts/Finance processes and procedures
• Good knowledge of corporate finance and budgeting
• Proficiency in the use of accounting software such as ERP, SAGE, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel is required.
