Job Title: Solar Technical Lead
Location: Awman Plaza, Gudu, Abuja, FCT

Job Description

• We are currently seeking to recruit a talented and responsible solar technical lead in our Abuja office. The candidate will ensure that targets are achieved and customer expectations are delivered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicating components requirements to suppliers and collaborating with suppliers on delivering desired product
• Training and mentoring junior staff
• Being a good brand ambassador to partners and customers
• Working with senior management to define processes for the technical team
• Advising the management on technical solutions
• Planning and managing solar installation and component repairs
• Documenting results of installations and repairs
• Providing weekly reports on the technical department to the CEO

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or related subjects
• Certificate in solar installation and repairs
• Experience in repairing inverters
• Advanced knowledge of physics related to electricity for understanding off-grid solar power systems (difference between direct current and alternating current, basic physics concepts including voltage, current, charge, power and the relation between these quantities)

Preferable Requirements:

• Emotionally intelligent and being a problem-solver
• Able to work within set deadlines
• Decent understanding of business strategy and project management related to SMEs and experience in business consulting
• Entrepreneurial spirit to succeed in a challenging market environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary
N100,000 per month.
