It is our goal to be foremost in specialized care, medical education and research that delivers superior patients experience in a convenient, friendly and smart environment.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for qualified individuals who are passionate about team building and developing together, a state of the art facility, to join our highly experienced, diverse and agile team within the capacity below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Nurse &#8211; Midwife<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Type of Job:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be responsible to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery.<\/li>\n<li>You must possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of theater procedures, neonatal intensive care unit and patient safety.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate must be conscientious in being a problem solver, compassionate, sensitive and fast to act in emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>The goal is to promote patient\u2019s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor patient\u2019s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, taking vitals, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients information electronically<\/li>\n<li>Adjust and administer patient\u2019s medication and provide treatments according to physician\u2019s orders<\/li>\n<li>Inspect the facilities from time to time and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Provide instant medical consumables in emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Assist surgeons during procedures<\/li>\n<li>Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families<\/li>\n<li>Maintain medical and staff records<\/li>\n<li>Track medical and office supplies stock<\/li>\n<li>Update patient health records, including admissions and insurance data<\/li>\n<li>Create work schedules for staff members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The right candidate must possess a registered nursing\/midwife certificate with a valid practice license certificate.<\/li>\n<li>2-6years experience practicing in similar position<\/li>\n<li>Have good command of English listening, speaking, reading and writing<\/li>\n<li>Highly conscientious and result oriented<\/li>\n<li>Empathy and a caring disposition<\/li>\n<li>Have an ability to maintain good relationship, communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a work environment<\/li>\n<li>Have a good grasp of problem solving technique, alert to identify and finding workable solutions<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to coping with pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with difficult situation<\/li>\n<li>The right candidate must possess a registered Nurse-Midwife certificate with a valid practicing license.<\/li>\n<li>Must be accustomed with the use of \u201celectronic medical record\u201d system.<\/li>\n<li>Must be good with the use of power point, Microsoft word and excel for presentations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info.tpsh@gmail.com\"><strong>info.tpsh@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the position applied for as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>14th August, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only applicants who meet the requirements will be shortlisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pearls Specialist Hospital &#8211; We are a specialist hospital for maternal and child care with core competencies in fertility management and assisted conception, operating in Lekki, Lagos.
