JOB DESCRIPTION
\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\nDevelop, evaluate and maintain the project plans and master schedules.
\nMonitoring\u00a0and integrating schedules developed by all Project packages, Contractors and Main Equipment Suppliers
\nIn charge of Scheduling,\u00a0Reporting, Risk Management and planning\u00a0controlof the Project\u2019s overall budget.
\nCo-ordinate Engineering Schedule and Procurement & Construction Schedule.
\nBe proactive in all matters relating to cost, planning and\u00a0risk analysis<\/p>\n

MAIN ACTIVITIES:<\/strong>
\nDevelop Project scheduling, planning and progress measurement procedures. This includes the project\u00a0reporting\u00a0procedure.
\nEstablish a Project work breakdown structure (WBS) for each sub-budget items in line with Project Progress and Cost\u00a0control\u00a0guidelines and Project execution.
\nDevelop and maintain overall Baseline Project work plan and S-curves at adequate levels using sound techniques and proven tools. Integration of different Project segments from the given scope of work. to develop a logical comprehensive work plan
\nEvaluate, review and approve contractual submissions of Contractors\u2019 procedures, schedules and S-curves as baseline planning documents. Identification of baseline critical paths
\nContinuous review of Contractors\u2019 monthly progress schedules and\u00a0reportsto ascertain true progress and provide early-warning to\u00a0Project Managementof trends.
\nAnticipate any potential slippage and critical path deviations, propose and discuss mitigation and corrective actions with involved project parties highlighting critical\u00a0programme\u00a0areas and simulating strategies
\nLiaise with Cost\u00a0Control\u00a0Engineer to ensure consistency for installed quantities and spent engineering and construction man-hours figures
\nWork with limited supervision and with subordinates.
\nPrepare Project progress\u00a0reports\u00a0according to the project\u00a0reportingprocedure.
\nDirect contact with all entities in the project and acting as primary planning interface between Project team and Planning departments of JV partner, Project subcontracting teams, Contractors and Main Equipment Suppliers.\\
\nPrepare Level 0, 1, 2, 3 & L4 schedules
\nPrepare Detailed Engineering Completion\u00a0programmes
\nPrepare Procurement and Construction programmes
\nIdentify risks to procurement and construction\u00a0programme\u00a0that may be caused by delays in Detailed Engineering
\nProvide\u00a0support\u00a0to COMPANY Technical partners as and when required by COMPANY<\/p>\n

JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\nMinimum of 6 years recent experience as Planning Engineer in a design & construction organisation, with prior a minimum of 10 years experience as a scheduler or planner with EPC contractors.
\nProficient in the use of computerised planning tools, knowing the basics of the functionality of the program as well as advanced usage.
\nProficient in the use of Primavera.
\nExcellent Communication (English language written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Self confidence, patience under adversity, along with the ability to work to deadlines.
\nMinimum of 2 years (ideally) residence and working experience within an international environment and a multi-national, multi-cultural organisation
\nFluent in English language
\nWork with limited supervision, leadership and autonomy is compulsory<\/p>\n
