{"id":102100,"date":"2020-08-14T12:51:14","date_gmt":"2020-08-14T11:51:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=102100"},"modified":"2020-08-14T12:51:14","modified_gmt":"2020-08-14T11:51:14","slug":"white-soul-motors-limited-ongoing-job-recruitment-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/white-soul-motors-limited-ongoing-job-recruitment-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"White Soul Motors Limited Ongoing Job Recruitment &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>White Soul Motors Limited, incorporated in 1996 is a leading importer, distributor and marketer of various brands of brand new and very clean foreign used vehicles.We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Job Title: Vehicle Inspection Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Calabar, Cross River<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are a leading haulage company located in Calabar and seeking to hire a vehicle inspection officer to conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of our trucks and ensure that all trucks are in good conditions before leaving the terminal.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate would be a retired truck driver or safety officer and must possess a high level of integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Functions of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct pre-trip inspection of every vehicle to ensure that trucks are at all times in compliance with the safety rules, regulations and standards of the company and that each truck is:\n<ul>\n<li>Fitted with good tyres before embarking on a journey<\/li>\n<li>Equipped with good, non-leaking tarpaulin, functional headlights, parking lights, brake lights, reverse lights, reverse alarms, tyre jacks, work tools, warning Triangles (C-Caution) before embarking on a journey.<\/li>\n<li>Generally in good mechanical and serviceable conditions before embarking on a journey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Test vehicle for wear-and-tear damage.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares reports based on findings from the inspection<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a comprehensive check of the vehicle interior and exterior parts<\/li>\n<li>Prepare accurate reports based on findings from the inspections to be presented to the Head of Safety<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all inspection per vehicle doesn\u2019t exceed 20mins<\/li>\n<li>Ground any vehicle found to fall short of the standard<\/li>\n<li>Promptly notify clients of incidences, unavailable vehicles, etc<\/li>\n<li>Update the haulage software with information from the pre-trip and post-trip inspection, daily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of OND\/SSCE<\/li>\n<li>Experience: Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in haulage and logistics<\/li>\n<li>Indepth knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and truck accessories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Ability:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be agile<\/li>\n<li>Must possess high levels of integrity<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to write basic reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@whitesoulmotors.com\"><strong>recruitment@whitesoulmotors.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>20th August, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White Soul Motors Limited, incorporated in 1996 is a leading importer, distributor and marketer of various brands of brand new and very clean foreign used vehicles.We are recruiting to fill&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[9],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>White Soul Motors Limited Ongoing Job Recruitment - Apply Now!
