We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Copywriter<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a copywriter to join our team.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate should be able to capture the essence of key messages in as few effective words as possible (e.g. key differentiation, brand, key facts etc.) to tell a story that is engaging to our audience.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will work with a design and creative team to communicate with highimpact messages and have a clear knowledge of how to distil complexity into simple and clear messaging.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will also tell these engaging stories to our audience on social media; provide a social strategy for allocated brands and make these brands visually appealing and help them gain traction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write a clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice<\/li>\n<li>Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large and smallscale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)<\/li>\n<li>Conduct highquality research and interviews<\/li>\n<li>Edit and proofread copy as needed<\/li>\n<li>Use SEO principles to maximize copy\u2019s reach assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As a channel owner:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brief in designs, content for social ads, email<\/li>\n<li>Post, monitor and optimise Facebook content<\/li>\n<li>Post content on Twitter and Instagram<\/li>\n<li>Analyse social media accounts under your purview<\/li>\n<li>Plan upcoming social campaigns or brandspecific campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nRequired Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least three (3) years experience as a copywriter or related role<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively across departments, a passion and a keen interest in marketing technology; knowledge of user experience, usability principles, personas and content strategy;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate to the audience as a valuegiver;<\/li>\n<li>Understand the Inbound Marketing Methodology and adopt in all content marketing activities.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Detailoriented, precise and meticulous;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of online content strategy and creation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SEO<\/li>\n<li>Strong research skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WordPress<\/li>\n<li>Google Analytics<\/li>\n<li>CMS platforms<\/li>\n<li>Excel proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0 apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@webcoupers.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>careers@webcoupers.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st August, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Webcoupers &#8211; We are a Technology and Marketing agency focused on driving innovation and growth for forward thinking brands.
