We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Logistics &amp; Supply Chain Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Kano<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overal Mission<\/strong><br \/>\nGeneral objective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Specialist is responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management and records maintenance of items in a logistics and supply is an important component of supply-chain management, which emphasizes the receipt and proper storage of property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsabilities and Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assesses and organizes logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage and distribution of items and establishes proper warehousing and recording systems<\/li>\n<li>Place international procurement orders and follow up delivery schedule<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for receipt of international shipments, and liaises with clearance agents<\/li>\n<li>Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Follow up purchase contracts<\/li>\n<li>Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule<\/li>\n<li>Implement training plan<\/li>\n<li>Supervise local purchases<\/li>\n<li>Maintain petty cash organize payments upon approval<\/li>\n<li>Supervise warehousing and inventory<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records according to a filing system<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Requiered Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education degree: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Management or related field required<\/li>\n<li>Work experience: 3 years&#8217; experience in supply chain, Experience with ERP programs and Ability to lead, train and mentor employees.<\/li>\n<li>Language skills &#8211; English &amp; Hausa<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel &amp; Outlook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to create and follow schedules<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Reporting Skills<\/li>\n<li>Team working skills<\/li>\n<li>Confidence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/mJjuRHszDYSHnS5u9\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>27th August, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nutri K Limited is a subsidiary of Nutriset Group which was established to provide technical support in the specialized manufacturing, commercialization and distribution process of ready to-use food for the&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[42],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
