Technoserve, Inc.<\/strong> is an international nonprofit development organization founded in 1968. Its mission is to help entrepreneurial men and women in poor rural areas of the developing world to build businesses that create jobs, income and economic opportunity for their families, their communities and their countries.<\/p>\n II. BACKGROUND AND PROGRAM OVERVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n The \u201cMade in Nigeria\u201d program is a 15 month entrepreneurship competition which aims to identify, incentivize and capacitate Nigeria\u2019s highest potential agro-processors to increase their purchases from local farmers. The key program activities are to:<\/p>\n Through this program, TechnoServe intends to lay the groundwork to establish a fully operational country program with annual turnover between $1.5 -$2 million. A successful candidate will be able to manage the day to day implementation of the entrepreneurship program activities and develop a pipeline of new potential funding opportunities in Nigeria.<\/p>\n III. PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n The primary role of the Chief of Party will be to 1) manage the \u201cMade in Nigeria\u201d entrepreneurship program, 2) manage the establishment and staffing of TechnoServe\u2019s Nigeria office and 3) cultivate relationships and opportunities for further TechnoServe expansion in Nigeria. Specifically, the COP will be responsible for:<\/p>\n IV.
