This position is directly under the maintainance Engineer<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Job\u00a0 role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Coordinate repairs and maintenance in all  electrical systems in the plant.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">All PLC and Panels<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">HT and LT Cable<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Transformers<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Change Over Switches<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">NEPA Supply<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Meter Power<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Control Panel for Utilities and Plants<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Instrumentation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Gen.-Sets Operation.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Specific duties &amp;  Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Develop and implement appropriate preventive  maintenance programme for all electrical systems (motors, panels, cables  etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Liaise with Fleet Maintenance for repairs and  overhaul of generators<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Approve action to be applied during daily  planned maintenance period for electrical systems.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Supervise requests for parts to carry out  maintenance or repairs.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Analyse bottlenecks or problems on electrical  systems and sort them out to achieve rated capacity.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Review reports on performance of electrical  systems and correct any faults.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Keep log\/history of maintenance and repairs on  electrical systems.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Plan and implement annual shut down  maintenance.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Advice on any major investment in electrical  systems<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Key Performance Objectives &amp;  Indicators<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Objective: <\/strong>To ensure availability  of electricity and electrical systems<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Amount of downtime due to power outage and  electrical faults.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Repairs and maintenance cost on electrical  system<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Downtime resulting from unavailability of  utilities<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Reliability of water system for fire fighting  (as measured by case of starting water pump and water pressure in fore  hose)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Repairs and maintenance cost (relative to age  and value of machine and equipment)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Work Guides &amp; References<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Plant Operational Manual<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Equipment Machine Manual<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Preventive Maintenance Plan<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Management Reports<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Job Specifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Minimum Education:<\/strong> B.Sc. or  H.N.D.
