Our services include but not streamlined to the following: Agrochemical &amp; Fertilizer; Animal Drugs &amp; Vaccines; Animal Feed Supplements &amp; Additives; Animal Feeds &amp; Concentrates; Aquarium; Beverages; Broilers. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Following and enforcing the company&#8217;s procurement policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.<\/li>\n<li>Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of an OND.<\/li>\n<li>Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory and management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:chickenwimpeyfoods@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>chickenwimpeyfoods@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as the subject of the email<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>25th September, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chicken Wimpey Foods Limited &#8211; We are an Agro allied organization.
