We work with best-in-class partners and technologies from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening:<\/strong>\u00a0 Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0 Lekki, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Company:<\/strong>\u00a0 Computer Warehouse Group<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last Modified:<\/strong>\u00a0 28.06.2011<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Job Summary<\/span>\u00a0\u0001<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Project Manager has overall project responsibility<\/li>\n<li>\u0001Work closely with the Project Sponsor to ensure project completion is timely, within<br \/>\nbudget, and meeting the quality criteria and requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Principal Duties and Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for managing and leading the project team as well as recruiting project<br \/>\nstaff and consultants<\/li>\n<li>Manage the co-ordination of consultants and working groups engaged on client<br \/>\nproject<\/li>\n<li>Carry out detailed project planning and control including developing and maintaining<br \/>\na detailed project plan, and managing project deliverables in line with the project<br \/>\nplanRecord and manage project issues and escalate to Program Manager or Project<br \/>\nSponsor where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on project progress and performance and provide status reports to<br \/>\nthe project sponsor<\/li>\n<li>Managing project training within the defined budget<\/li>\n<li>\u0001 Liaison with, and updates progress to, project steering board\/senior management<\/li>\n<li>Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities<\/li>\n<li>Manage consultants input within the defined budget<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Define and manage the User Acceptance Testing programme.<\/li>\n<li>Identify user training needs, devise and manage user training programmes<\/li>\n<li>Obtain client sign off on close out documents on completion of a project<\/li>\n<li>Ensure relevant project related documents are filed and well stored<\/li>\n<li>Transfer project related documents to the Service Delivery support team on<br \/>\ncompletion of a Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Proper project accounting including time and expense reporting on each project<\/li>\n<li>Frequency\/ volume of repeat business<\/li>\n<li>Actual vs. Planned:\n<ul>\n<li>Delivery targets<\/li>\n<li>Cost targets<\/li>\n<li>Quality targets<\/li>\n<li>Number of projects<\/li>\n<li>Resources management\/ utilisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Project deliverables target<\/li>\n<li>Timeliness of project<\/li>\n<li>Project milestones achievements<\/li>\n<li>Effectiveness of controls<\/li>\n<li>Number of complaint received<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Competency and Skill Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Academic Qualification<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>A good first degree from a reputable tertiary institution<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>\u00a0A project management professional qualification is an added advantage<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Work Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00014 \u2013 6 years experience with about 2 years in a Senior Project team member\/ Project<br \/>\nManager role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Personal Skills<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good supervisory skills with the ability to drive a team of achieving results<\/li>\n<li>\u0001 Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Methodical and able to maintain teams focus on an objective<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership and people development skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks<\/li>\n<li>Good administrative skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwlgroup.com\/careers\/details.php?ID=1457\"><strong>Click here to view and Apply Online<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the fastest growing information and communication technology companies in\u00a0 Africa today.
