{"id":110606,"date":"2020-09-29T13:13:41","date_gmt":"2020-09-29T12:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=110606"},"modified":"2020-09-29T13:13:41","modified_gmt":"2020-09-29T12:13:41","slug":"merit-telecoms-nigeria-limited-current-available-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/merit-telecoms-nigeria-limited-current-available-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Merit Telecoms Nigeria Limited Current Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Merit Telecoms Nigeria Limited is an independent and recognized leader in providing wireless voice and data turnkey services to the telecommunication industry.\u00a0We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Financial Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Ilupeju &#8211; Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure financial processes and controls operate effectively and efficiently on a day to day basis and develop and implement reporting measures to demonstrate their operation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all reconciliations completed on timely basis and differences are investigated and resolved promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company invoicing and collection process ensuring prompt collection of monies due.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company procurement process and work with the Finance Manager and relevant units to quickly implement an updated process to improve cost control.<\/li>\n<li>Implement a review of existing processes and controls to identify improvements that can be immediately implemented.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend changes that will improve the company&#8217;s financial performance and financial controls.<\/li>\n<li>Cost control and reduction<\/li>\n<li>Provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service<\/li>\n<li>Support the Finance in procurement activities such as the tender process, supplier relationships and contract management for goods and services<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all purchases, order enquiries and ensure purchases are properly approved<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements for the company and Complete VAT returns and all tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company cash flow and loan management<\/li>\n<li>Manage the monthly financial process to enable the production of accurate and effective management information, budgets and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular progress reports to the Finance manager on issues affecting company performance.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up any vendor management issues and queries and resolve disputes in a timely manner whilst effectively coordinating with vendors and internal staff.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other appropriate duties related to efficient vendor management in a professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accounting of Finance.
