We render accomodation services, restaurant and bar, laundry and shuttle services.\u00a0We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Hotel Supervisor <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Ikotun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for overall business performance of the hotel through efficient operations, effective cost controls, inventory and profit management<\/li>\n<li>Achieve company objectives in sales targets, food costs, service, quality, ambience of the hotel, sanitation and cleanliness through continuous training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Administering fair and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure staff compliance with the company policies and health and safety standards<\/li>\n<li>Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all inventory received and final product meet the required quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for minimizing wastage by ensuring the efficient use of resources (e.g. packaging, stationery, disposables, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Planning adequate cover for absence to ensure the smooth running of business operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, professional and courteous service at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the maintenance of equipment, fitting and facilities and ensures prompt repair in the event of any fault or breakdown.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for handling and resolving customer complaints<\/li>\n<li>Maintain timekeeping and personnel records<\/li>\n<li>Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree, HND qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 -3 years experience<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in management and the hospitality industry is an added<\/li>\n<li>advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organizational and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Decisive, dedicated, smart and a critical thinker<\/li>\n<li>Good time management ability.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must reside around Ikotun and its environs. Preferably a male.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN600,000 Annually<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Account Officer <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Ikotun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining financial records.<\/li>\n<li>Handling accounts payable and receivable.<\/li>\n<li>Checking invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping of comprehensive general ledger<\/li>\n<li>Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Handling queries related to accounts<\/li>\n<li>Writing vouchers and posting transactions into the accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for issuing receipt for payment received<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for petty cash management and reporting expenses made from same on daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Providing daily and weekly sales, profit and other management reports to Management.<\/li>\n<li>Computation and reconciliation of utilities payments made against outstanding<\/li>\n<li>Prepares debtors details on monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that all required records (sales, inventory, food cost, stock, wastage etc) are properly updated on a daily basis or as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Controls profit &amp; loss, by following cash handling policy, internal control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing food and labour costs, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions<\/li>\n<li>Managing and monitoring the restaurant budget to ensure that set targets are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND, OND, BSc qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years experience<\/li>\n<li>Able to work well within a team.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks.<\/li>\n<li>Solid analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Should have at least an ATS certification<\/li>\n<li>High level of confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Must reside around Ikotun<\/li>\n<li>Preferably a female<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN480,000 Annually<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cook<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Ikotun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meal planning, food dressing and creative preparation and presentation of meals that can compete with other hotels<\/li>\n<li>Prepares food according to the specification of guests to accommodate their preferences and before arrival of guests.<\/li>\n<li>Orders ingredients and spices as needed<\/li>\n<li>Operates various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer.<\/li>\n<li>Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation<\/li>\n<li>Keeps records and accounts of food purchases.<\/li>\n<li>Train other cooks in food preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to come up with strategies to curb wastage.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with Management about how to improve meal service.<\/li>\n<li>Cleans food preparation areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND, BSc qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene.<\/li>\n<li>Vast in preparation of Local Nigerian dishes as well as Continental cuisine.<\/li>\n<li>Must have worked in a hotel and be able to work night shifts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN360,000 Annually<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:chineyeikanih@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>chineyeikanih@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> using the Job Title as the subject of the mail<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>17th October, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aloma Suites and Hotel is located in a quiet and cool area of Egbeda, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State; about 15minutes drive to the Airport.
