We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internal Control and Risk Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To plan, organize and carry out the internal controls function including the preparation of an audit manual and audit plan<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessment of all departments<\/li>\n<li>Reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the Head of Internal Control &amp; Enterprise Risk and provides recommendations for improving the organisation&#8217;s operations.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate compliance with existing Company&#8217;spolicies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and engage in continuous education and staff development re best practices<\/li>\n<li>Review the responses to internal and external audit management letter queries to ensure that recommendations are implemented and ensure that all action items are resolved<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate regulatory compliance program<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the organisation&#8217;s readiness in case of business interruption<\/li>\n<li>Provides support to the company&#8217;s anti-fraud programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Experience and Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educated to Degree level in a related field or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 4years experience in accounting, finance, auditing or Business Management in a Financial Institution<\/li>\n<li>Experience in writing internal policies and procedures and process evaluation and documentation<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrated knowledge of internal controls Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.
