We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Call Center Agent<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting To:<\/strong> Contact Centre Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for receiving audio complaints from various sources such as consumers, the CEO- IE, Consumer Protection Council (CPC), NERC, Independence Corrupt\u00a0\u00a0 Practices (ICPC), IKEJA forum of NERC etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtains client information by answering telephone calls; interviewing clients; verifying information.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to billing inquiries and handle customers&#8217; high bill complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Updating customers&#8217; account.<\/li>\n<li>To take telephone calls on behalf of IE in order to fulfil customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li>To know the most up to date information on all product and services of IE and be able to help customers in a quick and friendly fashion.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains communication equipment by reporting problems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide information about company programs, products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Report electric emergencies and outages.<\/li>\n<li>Provide data to customers requesting new services and\/or construction and channel to appropriate office.<\/li>\n<li>Seek resolution of customer complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to utility commission and agency inquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Carry out any other duties as requested by Head customer Service and Head of Department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role requires a first degree in a Social Science or related course<\/li>\n<li>Requires at least 1 year relevant work experience with advanced\/ extensive knowledge and mastery of relevant theories, principles and complex techniques gained through broad experience or special development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possesses current knowledge of profession.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the business<\/li>\n<li>Good customer service management<\/li>\n<li>Good Phone Skills<\/li>\n<li>Good Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to Task<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and multi task effectively<\/li>\n<li>Good Verbal communication &amp; interpersonal Skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail.<\/li>\n<li>Persuasive<\/li>\n<li>Good customer Service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.ikejaelectric.com\/position\/view\/170\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>20th October, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) &#8211; Buoyed by a mission to redefine customer experience and be the provider of choice wherever energy is consumed, the Ikeja Electric (IE), Nigeria&#8217;s largest&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1641],"tags":[2685],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
