We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cook<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Festac Town, Lagos,<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To prepare delicious and tasty meals that supersedes customers\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 expectation and satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>To provide meals at competitive prices and at reduced cost while eliminating shrinkage and at minimal wastage.<\/li>\n<li>Also to ensure that a high standard of (personal and professional) hygiene is maintained in the kitchen\/production area before, during and after the production process.<\/li>\n<li>Assist to achieve departmental budgeted sales and profit targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal &amp; Work Environment &#8211; Appearance, Grooming &amp; Hygiene:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company&#8217;s set standard on personal grooming.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the work area is cleaned before, during and after use with recommended solutions &amp; chemicals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all the equipment are cleaned before and after use in the production.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all equipments are cleaned in line with the hygiene &amp; safety standards as enshrined the SOP &amp; on-the-job training by the superiors. Ensure cleaning is implemented in accordance with the department schedule.<\/li>\n<li>All checklist on Operations, Hygiene, Health and safety standards are observed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Health and Safety standards &#8211; Self, Team, Area, Equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wearing safety \/ protective clothes \/ uniform at all times on duty &amp; ensuring other team-mates does the same.<\/li>\n<li>Strict Observance of all operation and safety instructions as regards the use and cleaning production equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure correct dress kits and PPE (personal protective equipments) are used in line with laid down procedure &#8211; always wear gloves, caps, aprons, uniforms, coats, boots etc.<\/li>\n<li>Proper\/correct usage of equipment in order to ensure minimum wastage of ingredients during production process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Partake in the implementation of Daily Production Plan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in planning and implementation of production as per targets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the timely implementation of the daily production plan to details as set out by the department manager and target is met.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure strict adherence to the SOP on production &#8211; measurement, time, order, process etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the use of the right product both in quality and quantity.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the timely availability of various products to the sales department; correct products in correct quantities are available at the correct time of day or week.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure optimum utilization of equipment and inputs to minimize waste by adhering strictly to laid out guidelines and procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Submit daily check list of tasks done to departmental manager along with the team members lists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Inventory Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and ensure the availability of production inputs at all time.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that inputs are stored at right place and under the right condition &#8211; temperatures &amp; in a hygienic &amp; safe manner.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain ideal input stock levels per product category &amp; rotate stock(FIFO).<\/li>\n<li>Buying based on Production chain &amp; production planning.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stock of inputs are replenished immediately they fall below the minimum stock level.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in receiving the stock of inputs from supplier to very and confirm the correctness and the quality.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that mixing is done according to prescribed methods\/instructions and recipes in accurate quantities to ensure efficient utilization of resources.<\/li>\n<li>Help plan &amp; assisting in stock take procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistent quality, freshness and presentation all the products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSCE \/ GCE \/ NECO qualification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To\u00a0Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidate should send their Applications to: <a href=\"mailto:hr.hubmart@gmail.com\"><strong>hr.hubmart@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> using the &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th November, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hubmart Stores Limited is a retail shopping chain of Nigerian heritage, offering multi-format stores in various locations and positioned to offer customers world-class shopping experience as well as a vast&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[30],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
