below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Treasury Advisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Responsible to:<\/strong> Head of Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Grade:<\/strong> 7<br \/>\n<strong>Line Management:<\/strong> None<br \/>\n<strong>Contract:<\/strong> Fixed term<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The position holder will contribute to maintaining adequate financial integrity in supporting quality and timely data input for generation of financial reports.<\/li>\n<li>S \/ he will be responsible for timely processing of funds for programme activities for AAN and contribute to strengthening the internal control and accounting systems of the organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily input of all payment vouchers into SUN Accounting system and processing of cash and bank payment vouchers.<\/li>\n<li>Daily Treasury report on all bank accounts and monitor balances for Management decision.<\/li>\n<li>Document, control and secure Accounting Records.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor bank and investment accounts<\/li>\n<li>Investigate, follow up and clear all reconciling items.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of Petty cash (GBP, USD, NGN) payment and ledger reconciliation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that petty cash balances are paid back into AAN Bank accounts at the end of the year latest 31st December.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Country Director Expenditure for quarterly report to AAN Board Chair<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with banks on all banking operations.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly withholding tax schedule for remittance.<\/li>\n<li>Receipt of cash and cheque payment to AAN<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly exchange rate operations<\/li>\n<li>Issuance and disbursement of cheques upon approval by authorized personnel<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as assigned by line manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Accounting \/ Finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant accounting professional certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least four (4) years post NYSC<\/li>\n<li>Experience in implementing financial control systems<\/li>\n<li>Sound Practical Knowledge of accounting software and Spreadsheets finance person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development sector experience, three (3) of which should have been spent in a finance position.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the SUN Software is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills \/ Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal &amp; negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>High sense of Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well with minimum supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interface effectively with other members of staff and solve problems using own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Qualities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to details<\/li>\n<li>High integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work extra hours as may be required<\/li>\n<li>Effectively promote the AAN\u2019s
