We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Case Freelance Writer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Code: <\/strong>CFW20<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Case Freelance Writer engages professional expertise to rework case contents and ensure that the overall quality of cases improves significantly and meets the international standards as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Job Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply journalistic writing approach to improve the quality of teaching cases, teaching notes, and technical notes written by faculty members<\/li>\n<li>Apply journalistic writing approach to improve the quality of faculty\u2019s articles and other academic writings that will be published in high impact journals.<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, s(he) shall conduct media and business research to achieve the above.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular work-in-progress and, in the process, obtain useful feedback from subject faculty to further clarify the direction of publications.<\/li>\n<li>Consult relevant standard references to ensure adherence to the required quality of cases publishable in targeted case publishing houses, such as the Harvard Case Publishing.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct secondary research to obtain useful information that will improve the overall quality of teaching cases.<\/li>\n<li>Review and provide editorial inputs for teaching cases, notes and journal articles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that learning and teaching objectives, as stated in the teaching cases and notes are achievable.<\/li>\n<li>Manage case and journal article development timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A B.Sc Degree in Management, Social Sciences or any related discipline from a reputable institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years&#8217; subject experts &#8211; to write and develop cases and technical notes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Job Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide professional writing expert in developing cases and technical notes<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular work-in-progress based on an agreed timeline<\/li>\n<li>Consult relevant standard references to ensure adherence to the required quality of cases publishable in targeted case publishing houses, such as the Harvard Case Publishing<\/li>\n<li>Conduct secondary research to properly position a case and ensure that necessary questions are included in the interview guide, particularly questions that border on issues that are not available in the public space<\/li>\n<li>Acquire necessary information about companies or protagonists for case writing<\/li>\n<li>Manage case production timelines and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Where necessary, attend and administer interview questions together with or without faculty<\/li>\n<li>Develop a teaching note for a case<\/li>\n<li>Attend and participate in sessions to obtain feedback from students and directly provide feedback to faculty to enhance the quality of cases<\/li>\n<li>(S)he shall review cases, teaching notes, and technical notes written by faculty and provide input that will improve quality and standards.<\/li>\n<li>(S)he shall ensure that the case protocol is strictly adhered to and all quality requirements are met before a case or technical note is published.<\/li>\n<li>(S)he will be responsible for regular case writing seminars and workshops for faculty and research assistants.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to organising seminars and workshops, shall, regularly, follow up with faculty writing cases to provide assistance on best writing approaches and strategies<\/li>\n<li>The case writer shall be the custodian of research code of conduct with respect to case writing and ensure that all authors follow the school\u2019s research codes of conduct before final approval for case publication is given.<\/li>\n<li>(S)he shall generate case leads and discuss with subject expert faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Where necessary, s(he) shall maintain communication with the case subject company or protagonist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A BSc holder in management \/ basic sciences or related discipline from a reputable institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least three years\u2019 experience in a business writing capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and organisational skills and initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent editorial skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent coordination skills<\/li>\n<li>High integrity, reliability and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details and with a high level of productivity and creativity.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of business and case writing<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of project planning, management and administration<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office and Computer in general<\/li>\n<li>Public relations\/relationship management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>People management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: MBA Marketing Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Code: <\/strong>MBAMO20<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The MBA Marketing Officer ensures that the School maintains the EMBA \/ MEMBA market flagship within the environment and to provide administrative support to the admissions office in the various rounds of admissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Job Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the conversion of prospective leads to EMBA \/ MEMBA students by establishing regular and efficient communication to the prospective candidates using different effective channels.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for calling and following up on Executive MBA and Modular Executive MBA programme prospects to ensure they complete the application process before the end of each marketing round.<\/li>\n<li>Database Management: creates new prospects records and daily updates of prospects records with information from front desk inquiry, phone call inquiry, email inquiry, referrals and other sources.<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up with the applicants to submit all relevant documents for admissions.<\/li>\n<li>EMBA and MEMBA Rounds of Applications: File and sort individual application documents for each round.
