A household name in the transportation industry and one of the largest providers of intercity and interstate transportation, serving more than 200 destinations across Nigeria and West Africa with a modern and environmentally friendly fleet.\u00a0We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Coker, Orile &#8211; Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to hire a procurement officer with at least 3years experience procurement of vehicle parts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases<\/li>\n<li>Researching potential vendors<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality<\/li>\n<li>Track orders and ensure timely delivery<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clear and organised records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with receiver to ensure proper storage<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain good relationships with vendors\/suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyze all vendors\/suppliers, supply, and price options<\/li>\n<li>Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; job-related experience in sourcing for vehicle parts.<\/li>\n<li>Integrity and professionalism.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to procure locally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy and systems<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to: <strong><a href=\"mailto:hr.cv@guotransport.com.ng\">hr.cv@guotransport.com.ng<\/a><\/strong> using &#8220;Procurement Officer&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GUO Transport Company Limited is a division of G.
