We are recruiting for an experienced and competent professional to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: General Manager &#8211; Project<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong> Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position is based in Lagos State, Nigeria, however, successful candidate will be required to travel to various sites\/locations and outside the country where the Group has its operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nOverall supervision of the company\u2019s various:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rice Mills,<\/li>\n<li>Cassava factories\u2019 projects<\/li>\n<li>Out growers\u2019 programs across Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li>Fertilizer blending Plants<\/li>\n<li>Other medium and long term programs that might come up.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates will be required to contribute to the strategic development of the Group, represent the Group in different fora and make presentations in conferences and seminars.<\/li>\n<li>Successful Candidate will also be required to train junior staff in some essentials of Agriculture value chain as it relates to the company\u2019s programs on production and processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Qualifications \/ Requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must be very experienced with a minimum of a Master\u2019s Degree program in Agriculture with no less than 10 years post qualification. A Doctoral degree \/MBA will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be very knowledgeable in Nigerian Agriculture value chain, policies and with global outlook.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must have a network of Professional contacts\u00a0and maintain a good inter-personal relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be good in Human Management, fluent and confident.
