As part of strategies to further strengthen its operations in Nigeria, the company has identified the need to recruit exceptional, highly motivated and energetic individuals to join its team and make significant contributions towards achieving its goals.<\/div>\n
Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><\/div>\n

Reports to<\/strong>: Managing Director<\/div>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • The successful candidates will be responsible for the development and implementation of the operational plans and management of budgets for all ongoing and future projects.<\/li>\n
  • In particular, s\/he will ensure that the policies, systems and processes for executing projects align with the overall strategy of the company.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee the management system and overall execution of projects.<\/li>\n
  • Supervise the preparation of scope of work, project scheduled, quality, equipment, materials and direct supervision on all testing and commissioning activities<\/li>\n
  • Organize various sections from engineering, construction and procurement in preparing, establishing, testing and commissioning plans, including hazard and operability studies.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate all sub-contractors and vendors for the testing and commissioning of equipment before shipment (Factory Acceptance Test).<\/li>\n
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the commissioning activities and E&I of projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Job Qualifications<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • A good first degree in any field of Engineering form a reputable institution. A higher degree in engineering and\/or an MBA will be added advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Relevant Project Management certification(s) will be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n
    • A minimum of 15 years\u2019 project management experience in the oil and gas sector.<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of project management tools is essential.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience in project scheduling and monitoring, project engineering and costing, as well as the tendering and procurement processes.<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of joint venture project operations and interface in the oil and gas industry in non-operated and operated assets.<\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of the economic evaluation of projects, as well as negotiations and commercial skills in the oil and gas industry.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
