{"id":11743,"date":"2011-11-16T06:53:11","date_gmt":"2011-11-16T05:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=11743"},"modified":"2011-11-16T06:53:11","modified_gmt":"2011-11-16T05:53:11","slug":"quantity-surveyor-stresert-services-limited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/quantity-surveyor-stresert-services-limited.html","title":{"rendered":"Quantity Surveyor: STRESERT Services Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>STRESERT Services Limited\u00a0<\/strong>is a professional business support services company offering quality support services covering manpower resourcing, managed staffing, training and development programmes and immigration services to corporate organisations.<\/p>\n<div><strong>Job Title: Quantity Surveyor\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>Location\u00a0<\/strong>: Asaba<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for tendering\/quoting for all projects<\/li>\n<li>Prepare BOQ and assist on preparing contracts<\/li>\n<li>Determines the bid strategies required for the company to be successful as well as plan and coordinate and supervise large projects.<\/li>\n<li>Assists corporate and project management teams to determine what types of projects to bid, strategies, techniques, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in presentations to corporate management and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc. as required.<\/li>\n<li>May assist in the preparation of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and cost estimates as required.<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with the customer to negotiate all quotations sent together with the business development team<\/li>\n<li>Advises on selection of the right combination of resources to execute contracts<\/li>\n<li>Manages the whole cost structure related to projects<\/li>\n<li>Devises all budgets associated to projects related to cost and time implementation<\/li>\n<li>Manages cost during project and carry out commercial post-mortem after the execution<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for project measurement and billing during construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Qualification and Experience:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate should have 3 years experience in civil engineering and construction \u2013 infrastructure projects and also buildings, mainly involved in estimating and cost management<\/li>\n<li>A degree in Quantity Surveying or related qualification from a recognized institution and be a registered QS or civil engineer<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, supervisory and decision making\/problem solving skills essential.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be a team player with very good communication skill and willing to work to specific deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Ability to do estimating and billing using state of the art software tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Please send your application and resume to:<\/div>\n<div><em><strong>StreSERT Services Limited<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em><strong>30, Ajasa Street Onikan, Lagos<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div>Or e-mail to: info@stresertservices.com<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>STRESERT Services Limited\u00a0is a professional business support services company offering quality support services covering manpower resourcing, managed staffing, training and development programmes and immigration services to corporate organisations.
