We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Packaging Instrument Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Sagamu, Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Purpose Statement <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary function of this position is to perform\u00a0optimization \/modifications of process control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the installations of process control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimize\u00a0Packaging equipment and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain safety and housekeeping standards<\/li>\n<li>Locate plant, equipment, spares, and relevant documentation \/ systems<\/li>\n<li>Plan and prepare the job<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to self and team development<\/li>\n<li>Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Operate and control the process according to SOP&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Conduct autonomous maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Manage quality at source<\/li>\n<li>Improve personal competence and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy work environment<\/li>\n<li>Carry out repairs \/ maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment and systems<\/li>\n<li>Operate plant and process equipment<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate instruments<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively in teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Standards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical ability and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Display initiative and ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization, within a team environment and with suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Motivated self-starter with high energy levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. of B.Sc.\/HND in Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>2 Years on the job training with SKAP completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Traits &amp; Competencies Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpret process description specifications and conduct modifications \/optimisations of process control software as per specifications and software standards. Identify process control software deviations and resolve or recommend solutions<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of and upgrade preventative maintenance procedures for process control systems<\/li>\n<li>Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts<\/li>\n<li>Maintain working knowledge of new technology instrumentation, software, etc.\u00a0through reading and\/or attending conferences, workshops or other training<\/li>\n<li>Support the process control software change management process<\/li>\n<li>Maintain process control software integrity and security<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The advert has minimum requirements listed.
