We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Lead, Reconciliation Team<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> FCT, Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As the Lead of the Reconciliation Team, you will lead a small team of Reconciliation Officers responsible for helping our fintech team reconcile transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the functional lead of day-to-day operations for the reconciliation team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure complete, accurate and timely deliverables in accordance with procedures, policy guidance and applicable regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate complex account transactions and reconcile to identify and minimize risk.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse financial data and trace discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve financial dispute and settlement complaints raised by the customers and sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Manage general ledger reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Manage account reconciliations such as bank, inventory control, clearing, billings etc.<\/li>\n<li>Issue receipts to customers on receipt of payments.<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure wrong postings of transactions are reversed.<\/li>\n<li>Process, verify, and reconcile high volume transactions of complex nature.<\/li>\n<li>Execute and review the reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts ensuring that cash amounts in a company&#8217;s accounting ledgers agree with bank balances.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should have a B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Statistics or relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Excel with respect to data manipulation, Vlookup, Text to column, Use of String and Concatenate, advance Filters is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong numerical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be Computer proficient, especially in the use of MS Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Must have previous experience leading a team of Reconciliation Specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 4 years\u2019 previous experience as a Reconciliation Specialist in a Financial Organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in the Fintech Industry is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/crowdforce.freshteam.com\/jobs\/lBQL9BRiF7k4\/lead-reconciliation-team\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crowd Force is building Africa\u2019s Largest offline distribution network.
