Lorache works cut across multiple industries, including the consumer goods, finance, capital market, pharmaceutical, telecommunication, entertainment and leisure sectors etc. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Agric Operation Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Abakaliki, Ebonyi<br \/>\n<strong>Ref.:<\/strong> AOPM 202<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agricultural Operations Managers or farm managers are responsible for the daily planning, organisation, supervision and administration of activities on farm estates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall coordination of the company&#8217;s development program<\/li>\n<li>Optimization of FFB recovery<\/li>\n<li>Plantation management plan development<\/li>\n<li>Strategic redevelopment plan for old plantations<\/li>\n<li>Making sure that work progresses satisfactorily<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards<\/li>\n<li>Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of pests and diseases<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the farm is profitable and meets projected financial targets<\/li>\n<li>Organising maintenance\/repair of farm property, equipment and machinery<\/li>\n<li>Advertising and marketing farm products or the work of the farmer.<\/li>\n<li>Development of new plantations and coordination of its growth plan<\/li>\n<li>Forward planning<\/li>\n<li>Making policy decisions<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records<\/li>\n<li>Organising sales crops and agricultural products<\/li>\n<li>Handling paperwork and keeping administrative records<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting, training\/instructing and supervising farm workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc. in Agricultural Management and Extension<\/li>\n<li>A relevant higher Postgraduate Degree in addition to membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>The applicant must not be more than 40 years of age and a minimum of 7 years post-graduate working experience in an agro-based firm and specifically in an oil palm company that has a sizeable oil palm plantation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>IT skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to apply technical knowledge of the environment and legislation\/public policy matters in a practical environment<\/li>\n<li>Marketing and sales skills<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork and leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skill<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lorachevacancy@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>lorachevacancy@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> using the Job Title as the subject of the email<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>10th December, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lorache Group is a Marketing Management, Human Capital Development and Business Process &amp; Strategist Consultancy Outfit, registered with Company &amp; Allied Commission (CAC) of Nigeria to perform such businesses.
