We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head, Facilities \/ Data Center<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Function:<\/strong> Infrastructure Data Centre Operations Management (Engineering)<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Divisional CEO, Infratsructure Division<br \/>\n<strong>Travel Frequency:<\/strong> Occassional<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The post holder will be accountable for developing and executing ipNX\u2019s Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and ensuring that key stakeholders and users are reassured through strong communication that asset failures are both mitigated and managed in an expeditious manner until repairs are completed<\/li>\n<li>Provide operations and maintenance leadership through controlling, managing, auditing, supporting daily Data Centre operations and Network facilities activities that ensure achievement of highest possible KPI targets, operational excellence as well as efficiency in network operations processes and cost<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for acquisition, management and maintenance of Network facilities and physical \/ civil infrastructure including but not limited to Data centers and Base Transceiver Station (BTS) sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Key Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, configure, oversee the development and proactive management of the Infrastructure Asset Management Strategy &amp; Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Successfully manage Data Centre layout and Environment.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity and Property Management.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Business Continuity Plan (BCP).<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder management and Disaster Recovery Plan (DCP).<\/li>\n<li>Timely issue management of facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Telecommunications \/ Electrical \/ Civil Engineering (2.1 \/ Upper Credit Minimum)<\/li>\n<li>MBA or Master&#8217;s Degree in Engineering, Management or Technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functional Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between<\/li>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 experience in Telecommunications Operations management<\/li>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 in operation support, installations and commissioning<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working with multiple suppliers\/vendors\/ partners<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of mobile telecommunications network architecture\/technologies<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of project management<\/li>\n<li>Proficient at report writing, creating and presenting presentations<\/li>\n<li>Strong communicator and able to clearly articulate complex issues and technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to propose systems design and configuration improvements<\/li>\n<li>Curious and exposure in new and emerging technologies<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and handle multiple priorities<\/li>\n<li>Capable of supporting hundreds of systems both virtual and physical<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan, organize and document complex system designs<\/li>\n<li>High attention to details and strong ability to resolve systems issues<\/li>\n<li>Good communicator and able to clearly articulate complex issues and technologies<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of mobile telecommunications network architecture\/technologies<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of project management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Data Centre management will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience in Telecommunications Operations management<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7+ years\u2019 in operation support, installations and commissioning<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working with multiple suppliers\/vendors\/ partners<\/li>\n<li>Experience of supporting a business contract and\/or providing support to a professional function<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience in developing and implementing new FM strategy, plans and systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Safety Management systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience in writing Asset Management Strategy, processes, procedures, Business Cases and Strategy Papers<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders around system designs, capacity, road maps and resource allocation<\/li>\n<li>Significance leadership experience in the planning and delivery of building and services maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in the Telecommunications industry with a track record of technical achievement<\/li>\n<li>Experience with large scale infrastructure automation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian and global Information Technology Industry especially Telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience as a line manager and a coach leading diverse teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer Focused<\/li>\n<li>Hardworking and Tenacious<\/li>\n<li>Action Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Tech Savvy<\/li>\n<li>Result Driven<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Decision Quality<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving<\/li>\n<li>Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills<\/li>\n<li>Impeccable Customer Service and Support Skills<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<li>Self-Development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To apply<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:resumes@ipnxnigeria.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>resumes@ipnxnigeria.net<\/strong><\/a> using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<br \/>\nOr<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.ipnxnigeria.net\/jobs\/head-facilities-data-center-operations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>19th March, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ipNX Nigeria Limited is one of Nigeria\u2019s fastest growing Information and Communications Technology companies.
