We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Crown agents seek a procurement specialist to work with Regional Directors to identify and win new procurement assignments to assist in delivery of the Department\u2019s annual financial target.<\/li>\n<li>As part of the Global Procurement Team of technical experts, and complying with all corporate policies and procedures, the jobholder will be required to undertake the following tasks:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with Regional Directors to win new procurement projects;<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Director of Procurement to grow profitable and sustainable pipeline.<\/li>\n<li>Provide inputs into marketing and promotion materials;<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical inputs into Expression of Interests and Bids;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Delivery:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver technical inputs on specified procurement assignments;<\/li>\n<li>Act as Project Manager for allocated projects, ensuring:<\/li>\n<li>Contracted annual financial target is met or exceeded;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake all procurement in compliance with Good Distribution<\/li>\n<li>Practice (GDP) in accordance with the provisions of our Wholesale<\/li>\n<li>Distribution Authorisation (Human) (WDA (H)) issued by the<\/li>\n<li>Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)\u00a0and our United Kingdom Controlled Drug Licence issued by the Home Office;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all procurement is carried out using the relevant\u00a0corporate IT system(s) in operation<\/li>\n<li>Deliverables are produced on time and to the highest quality;<\/li>\n<li>Risks are mitigated and managed;<\/li>\n<li>Client and partner relationships are managed.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase goods in compliance with Crown Agents\u2019 procedures and\u00a0standards of ethical procurement, donor guidelines and end-user\u00a0requirements Where applicable, the Job Holder shall:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant graduate degree, or equivalent working experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant work experience, (procurement experience would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Crown Agents offers a competitive benefits package.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crownagents.com\/jobs\/current-vacancies\/detail\/?jobId=657&amp;jobTitle=Procurement%20Specialist%20-%20Nigeria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>11th January 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crown Agents is a high impact social enterprise passionate about transforming the future for millions of people.
