We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Microbiologist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Kirikiri &#8211; Apapa, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring of sampling activity of incoming Raw materials, Packing materials &amp; Microbiological samples.<\/li>\n<li>Microbiological testing &amp; monitoring of Finish goods, Raw materials, packing materials, Water samples &amp; environments.<\/li>\n<li>Performs microbial analysis on water, food, and the environment to obtain required information<\/li>\n<li>Inspects in-process production for conformity with quality specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Documents results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains laboratory equipment and ensures adequate calibration of all equipment<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with scientific and research developments<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that data is recorded accurately in accordance to guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Observing high health and safety standards<\/li>\n<li>Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HSE &#8211; Demonstrates basic knowledge of environment, Health and safety requirements within work area in order to comply to all set standard, identify and escalate potential hazards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements \/ Desired Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of Health Safety and Environment<\/li>\n<li>Clean and organized<\/li>\n<li>Must have an HND \/ BSc degree in Microbiology<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1-2 year experience as a microbiologist.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate living within close proximity would be given higher preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN60,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications using &#8220;Job Title&#8221; as subject of the email to: <strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@wvlgroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">careers@wvlgroup.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>28th December, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whitfield Ventures Limited\u00a0is a global trading company with an active presence in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
