We produce over 500 beers, including world-famous brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona.<\/p>\n<p>Local Africa brands such as Carling Black Label, Hero, Kilimanjaro, 2M, Eagle and we want like-minded, hard-working and passionate people to join our teams in Africa.\u00a0We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Technical Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Port-Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An exciting opportunities exist for highly skilled and result driven Technical Specialist in our Port Harcourt Brewery of International Breweries Plc,\u00a0Nigeria reporting to the Technical Operations Manager &#8211; Infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent will install and maintain computer systems and networks in order to ensure smooth operations while delivering IT support using a broad range of technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General user support of all company devices and software<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and provide resolutions to issues and outages<\/li>\n<li>Build an internal knowledgebase with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies<\/li>\n<li>Support, configure, maintain and upgrade our networks and in-house servers<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the Resolved Status Service Level Agreement (SLA) is not breached by resolving tickets timeously<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that tickets are updated in line with the Process (With approval from the customer and a valid reason)<\/li>\n<li>Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems timeously<\/li>\n<li>Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support<\/li>\n<li>Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities on the relevant systems<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that tickets are acknowledged before they breach the Ticket Acknowledgement SLA<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance Management &#8211; Ensure that a QA average of 98% is achieved on all call management assessments individually, based on ticket management quality<\/li>\n<li>Customer Experience: Excellent customer service delivered daily to avoid escalations, customer complaints and re-opening of calls<\/li>\n<li>Provide active resolution on all calls or emails logged for IT assistance within the agreed upon SLA timeframes<\/li>\n<li>Train others in computer interface or software use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in computer science or related field<\/li>\n<li>Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup\/recovery<\/li>\n<li>Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN\u2019s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired<\/li>\n<li>IT Certification will be an advantage (e.g. ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in network admin, systems support or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies and Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking<\/li>\n<li>Analysis &amp; diagnostic investigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/ABInBev1\/743999730153472-technical-specialist-port-harcourt-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AB InBev (International Breweries Plc) is the world&#8217;s leading brewer.
